Graphic Design Intern
From June to November 2023, I had the opportunity to work with the American Cancer Society as a Graphic Design Intern. During the Summer Internship Program, I successfully strengthened my technical, communication and professional skills.
Suits and Sneakers Gala, Northwest Arkansas
This campaign was created for the 2023 Suits and Sneakers Gala in Northwest Arkansas. The energy shown through colors and imagery captures the audience’s attention. This campaign successfully increased community engagement on Instagram and Facebook. In 2023, S&S NWAR raised $842,309.
Relay For Life of Bay Area
A logo and poster were created for the 2023 Relay For Life event for the Bay Area. This event’s organizer wanted to explore the theme of the film Top Gun using ACS branding. The final logo features colors associated with Relay For Life brand guidelines.
Recruitment Graphic Template
This recruitment graphic template was created to assist recruiters in their search for talent on LinkedIn. The tagline, People First, Mission Driven, helps attract candidates who are looking for employment that aligns with personal values. Since the organization has multiple internal brands, this template adjusts easily to reflect the position available.
For example, the pink graphic would be used for opportunities related to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the dark blue graphic would promote general ACS positions.
End of Year Sizzle Reel Template
As a nationally-recognized organization, there are many accomplishments achieved throughout the year. This video template was used by individual states in the South Region to highlight 2023 programs, events and research initiatives. This video template also utilizes the branding of the
110 year anniversary.
